SAN JUAN COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING January 11, 2010 The regular meeting of the San Juan County Commission was held at 10:00 A.M. in the Commission Room at Monticello, Utah. Present: Bruce Adams, Chairman Kenneth Maryboy, Vice Chair Lynn Stevens, Commissioner Tammy Gallegos, SJC Administrative Assistant Dawn Shaw, SJC Deputy Clerk Attendees: Jerry McNeely, Marilyn Boynton, Howard Randall, Scott Burton, Larry Sorrell, Brooke Williams Tammy Gallegos – SJC Admin. Assistant Tammy presented two new hires for approval. Chantelle Toomey as the Blanding Senior Center Aide, a part time Grade 1 Step 1 position. Steven Keele as the Aging Case Manager, a full time Grade 22 Step 173 position. A motion to approve both new hires was made by Commissioner Kenneth Maryboy. Commissioner Lynn Stevens seconded the motion. None opposed. Commissioner Bruce Adams declared the motion carried. Commissioners were supplied with information from the SJC Personnel office to move Damon Orr from a S/O Step 12D to Step 11D and to move Kirk Hazleton from a S/O Step 11C to Step 12C. A motion to approve the changes in Step was made by Commissioner Kenneth Maryboy. Commissioner Lynn Stevens seconded the motion. None opposed. Commissioner Bruce Adams declared the motion carried. A motion to approve the San Juan Trading Post for a Beer License renewal, and any Beer License renewals to come in this week, was made by Commissioner Lynn Stevens. Commissioner Kenneth Maryboy seconded the motion. None opposed. Commissioner Bruce Adams declared the motion carried. 10:30 A.M. – Executive Session A motion to go into Executive Session was made by Commissioner Lynn Stevens.
