Tax Sale Property Information

Notice is hereby given that on the 25th day of May, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The auction will be conducted via Public Surplus Internet website only, https://publicsurplus.com/sms/browse/home The auction might extend for certain scenarios which are communicated by Public Surplus on each auction page. All sales will be made by auction to the highest bidder. If a property remains unsold, the Clerk may reopen the bidding at a later date that will be announced in this same manner.  

The San Juan County Board of County Commissioners or the San Juan County Clerk retain the right to reject any and all bids for any reason, withdraw any property from the sale at any time prior to the issuance of the Tax Deed, or close the auction at any time.

A bidder is legally and financially responsible for all properties bid upon whether acting as one’s self or acting as an agent. All bidders must be 18 years of age or older. I will offer for sale at public auction and sell to the highest bidder for cash, pursuant to the provisions of Section 59-2-1351 Utah Code, the following described real estate situated in the County and now held by it under preliminary tax sale.  A bid for less than the total amount of tax, interest, penalty and administrative costs which are charged upon the real estate will not be accepted.  Most property will be sold at market valueSan Juan County does not warrant any parcel and all title searches are the responsibility of the bidder.
