Appeal of an Administrative Decision

Persons with standing may appeal San Juan County final civil administrative decisions to the County’s Administrative Law Judge. County administrative decisions may include civil actions taken by a County official or County enforcement officer relating to the building code, planning and zoning, animal control, licensing, health and safety, County employment, and sanitation. The process to request an administrative review of a final County civil administrative action is contained in San Juan County Ordinance No. 2020-11.
