Emergency Medical Services

In the event of an emergency call 911

All EMS services are dispatched from the Dispatch Center in Price, Utah.

All of our EMT’s are certified by the State of Utah, Bureau of EMS.

Throughout the year, San Juan County EMS provides courses for the public to certify as EMT's EMT Advanced and CPR training.

San Juan County is a mix of full-time, part-time and volunteer EMTs. They are paid an hourly rate for each hour that they are out on runs, being on call or transporting patients. EMT’s are HAZMAT Awareness level and National Incident Command trained.

San Juan County EMS has a mutual aid agreement with Grand County EMS as well as the Utah Navajo Health System.

Additional services are coordinated with the following air ambulance services: Classic Helicopter Services, Care Flight, Air Care One, St. Mary’s Hospital, and Farmington Regional Medical Center.
