Commission Agenda

If you would like to make a request to be on the Commission Agenda, please contact Mack McDonald or Rosa Vargas at (435) 587-3225.  All agenda items needing Executive or Legislative action need to be submitted by noon on the Thursday preceding Commission meeting.

Items that are not specific to regular or routine County Business will not be added to the Agenda. Public Comments are allowed in our meetings, if there is a desire to have the County hear comments or direction from the public, that is the mechanism to provide that input. Anyone wishing to make a public comment can do so either virtually or in person during the Commission Meeting.

Any documents or supporting information pertaining to the agenda item should be emailed to mmcdonald@sanjuancounty.org">mmcdonald@sanjuancounty.org by the Thursday noon deadline.  It is especially important that you submit supporting documentation for items requiring Commission action.

The County Commission serves both as the Executive and Legislative branches of San Juan County Government. The Commission coordinates the efforts of the different County Departments and approves the County budget. They appoint citizen committees, establish special service districts, create and administer programs to provide community services. The Commission enacts ordinances that affect the health, safety, and general welfare of San Juan County citizens.
