Sheriff's Office Road Deputy-North District

San Juan County is currently putting together a hiring roster of those interested in employment as a Road Deputy. When a position comes available applicants will be selected from this roster to proceed with the interview process.

GENERAL PURPOSE 

Under general direction of the Field Sergeant, performs a wide range of professional law  enforcement duties intended to secure a safe environment for county citizens and to protect rights  as established by federal, state and local laws at the full performance level.

Licensing and Certification  

Incumbents must possess or obtain Utah Law Enforcement Officer Certification through POST  (The Utah State Peace Officer Standards and Training Certification Agency) within 12 months of  hire.

Salary: $52,894-$71,739 DOE

This position is located in the North District.  Incumbents must live in the Monticello, LaSal or Spanish Valley areas.
