Inmate Accounting
Upon being booked into the San Juan County Jail, an account for the inmate is created. The account number is their San Juan County Jail Name Number.
There are several ways to get money to an inmate (Online, Phone, Mail).
Make Inmate Deposits on their commissary accounts 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week:

Sending an inmate money by mail:
Money can be sent to an inmate with a money order. The money order must have the following information:
- Inmate’s full name
- Inmate’s San Juan County Jail Name Number
- C/O Inmate Accounting
- P.O. Box 788
- Monticello, UT 84353
For example:
John Doe, #12345
Inmate Accounting
P.O. Box 788
Monticello, UT 84535
DO NOT include a letter with the money order. The letter will be confiscated and the inmate will not be able to read it. Click Here for instructions on sending an inmate mail.
